Yesterday I spent 7 hours in a bus getting from Whakatane to Auckland after spending an amazing 5 days in Ohope Beach with Freddie, Marcel and Rob (and Takki the cat!). It was the best way I could have imagined finishing off my 3 months trip... great company, good food, lots of sun and tons of swimming and playing in waves at the beach! I even caught a baby shark kayak fishing in the ocean! It scared the hell out of me when it came out of the water (even though it was the smallest fish I've ever caught!).

Un gros merci pour nous avoir fait partager ton périple en Nouv.-Zélande. Ton album photo est extraordinaire, et ce n'est surement rien à côté des images que tu emportes dans tes souvenirs. C'est un pays que je viens de découvrir au travers de tes yeux et c'est un merveilleux cadeau que tu nous a fais en nous faisant vivre ton voyage. Tes cyber-silences nous maintenaient en haleine (surtout celui du 17 février au 13 mars). Encore mille fois merci.

It was wonderful following your adventures in New Zealand. Thank you for all the work you put in to make it possible for us to join at least virtually. Fantastic photos (which we have come to expect from you) and texts which helped us understand what you were feeling and experiencing.
